Johnnie Walker Double Black is a smokier, more intense expression of Johnnie Walker Black Label. The liquid is un-aged and is different to Black Label in the way it has been blended. Jim Beveridge, the Johnnie Walker(R) Master Blender, has taken more of the whiskies that have been matured in charred wood and more of the whiskies that have a naturally smoky flavour and blended them to deliver a smokier, more intense experience.
